As of January 1, 2008, we have changed our name to brightstack TECHNOLOGIES, LLC.  Everything else remains the same.  "bright" means "intelligent; glorious, splendid".  "stack" means "an orderly pile arranged in layers".  A stack can also be analogous to a chain, where a chain is as strong as it's weakest link.  A strong stack is a function of the strength of all it’s underlying layers.  When applied to TECHNOLOGIES, the layers of a stack represent Help Desk and Support, Servers, Networking, Equipment, Security, Monitoring, Telephony, Collaboration, Unified Communications, Disaster Recovery, etc.  brightstack TECHNOLOGIES' goal is to help ensure the strength of all the layers of our clients' technology stack.
